Highlights
harnsy tells the lead what needs it.
An agent idle or busy without a word while it works on an item, an agent gone with open items, an item that stalled or has all its parts settled: one message, each thing once. The lead no longer runs a 30-minute check.
A backlog.
Work you park: nobody takes it, and it doesn’t count as open work. It waits in a folded “Backlog” under the board; “Send to work” hands it to the team, “To backlog” parks a new card.
Continue a session in your own terminal.
“Copy command” gives the harness’s own resume command for Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode. If the session still runs, it says where to close it first: harnsy never starts a second process on an open session.
New agents start knowing their seat.
An agent opened onto a team role gets a brief: who it is, its role document, the role’s newest handover note, its open items and its lead.
A team’s or a role’s tasks as one list.
With sub-tasks, what waits for you on top and closed items for 7 days. It opens from the team row, the team and role window, and the Roles list.
Branch and folder on the card.
An item shows the git branch and worktree its executor works in, with “copy path”. When the item closes, the executor is reminded once to remove the worktree.
Upgrading. Run the install command again. The database updates itself on first start; nothing to do by hand.
