harnsy Max

Your dashboard, away from home.

Open the dashboard from a phone or another computer over the internet, behind a passkey. It’s in every harnsy build; a harnsy Max key turns it on.

Adding a phone: the dashboard makes a one-time code valid for 5 minutes; the phone opens it and then creates a passkey. Sample screens.

Behind a passkey.

You sign in with a passkey (fingerprint, face or PIN), no password. The gateway is off by default, uses TLS and its own port, and the ports your agents use stay on this machine.

Add a device with a QR code.

The local dashboard shows a QR code; scan it with the phone and create the passkey. Every device is listed, and you can sign one or all of them out.

A change asks again.

Reading needs only the session. A change (sending a message, answering an agent, deciding a task) asks for the passkey, and the check holds for 15 minutes.

Full control is a separate switch.

Typing into terminals, starting agents and changing settings stay off until you switch full control on at the local dashboard. It switches itself off after 2 hours by default.

A guide from the door to the first sign-in.

Whether the machine is on the internet itself, a small VPS stands in front of your home machine, or you already run nginx and a VPN, the guide walks you through it.

What's in harnsy, and what's in harnsy Max? →

Limits, honestly

  • A phone signed in from outside can give orders to your agents: treat it like the keys to the machine, with a screen lock, and sign a lost device out at once.
  • You need a name in DNS that you control and a way for the internet to reach harnsy.

Your first team is one prompt away.

Installing takes one sentence to your agent. To open agents for you, harnsy drives a terminal: tmux on Linux and macOS, its own terminal host on Windows.

Questions

What's in harnsy, and what's in harnsy Max?

harnsy: one project, up to 10 agents at once, one machine. harnsy Max is the same build with a key: the key sets the numbers of projects and agents, several machines as one team, several subscriptions and their usage.
