Privacy notice: what people say
Who is responsible
Pavel Buchnev, individual entrepreneur (Georgia), the licensor of harnsy, decides how this data is used. Contact: hello@harnsy.dev.
What this covers
The text you send through the personal page we gave you, to be shown on harnsy.dev under “what people say”. Reading the site stores none of this. Analytics cookies are a separate choice, made in the cookie bar.
What we keep
- Your text, the language, and the name and role you typed, if any.
- The date you sent it, and the version of this notice you agreed to.
- How you came: the personal link we made for you (we know whom we gave it to) or, from the harnsy app, a coded licence ID that our licensing service can match to your key. So “no name” means not shown, not anonymous.
- A shortened network address (the network, not your full IP address), for 90 days, to stop abuse.
- We do not ask for your e-mail and keep none. The link and the sending of the form are not written to our web server logs.
Why and on what basis
To publish what you wrote, with your consent (the box you tick). You can withdraw it at any time; withdrawing does not affect what was lawful before. Where the law of your country needs more than this, the box is that consent.
Where it is shown
On harnsy.dev only, in public, and only after the founder has read and approved it. We may decide not to publish it. If you do not write in English, the site shows your text as you wrote it and one English translation that we make. We translate as faithfully as we can and do not change what you mean. The text is shown as you wrote it; we never show the link, a licence ID or anything else we know about you.
Who else sees it
Our hosting provider, Hetzner Online GmbH, Falkenstein, Germany, which runs the server under a data processing agreement. Nobody else. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long
- A text we do not publish: deleted within 90 days.
- A published text: while it is shown.
- Your personal link: valid for 30 days, one use.
- After you ask to remove your text: we delete the text and the name and keep only a note that the link or licence was used (no content), for one year, to prove the consent and to refuse a second use.
Removing your text
Write to hello@harnsy.dev. We hide it at once, take it off the site within 7 days and delete the text and the name. Search engines and web archives may keep copies we do not control; we cannot remove those.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion by e-mail. You can complain to the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia or, if you live in the EU, to your own data protection authority.
