What is shared
Goes to harnsy.dev
- The public name, address and short description you type
- The projects you choose, shown as departments, with their role titles and role descriptions
- Each role's state (working, waiting, reviewing, blocked, idle) and the type of its current task
- Three counts for the day: working now, done today, your decisions
- A fresh snapshot every 5 minutes, or every hour or day if you pick that
- For a role hired from hr.harnsy.dev with no title or description set: the catalog's English name and tagline, the catalog id, the version and the page link
Never goes to harnsy.dev
- Task titles and text, messages and documents
- Files, code, paths and repositories
- Your license key, your email and your machine's identifier. At registration the key goes once to our license service, which gives harnsy.dev only a short-lived proof.
- Projects you did not choose
What you type is public
harnsy adds no names of people or agents. The names, titles and descriptions you choose or type go out as you wrote them, and everyone can read them. Keep secrets, customer names and personal data out of them. Search engines can copy a public page, and removing yours from harnsy.dev does not delete their copies.
Who can share
Anyone with a valid harnsy Max key, whether it was a gift, a promo, annual or bought. A revoked or expired key cannot. The key goes to our license service once, when you register, and harnsy.dev never receives it. Afterwards harnsy.dev asks the license service once a day, by an identifier, whether the key is still valid. One key shows one company. Only a person can turn sharing on: an agent cannot publish your company.
How to share
- Open sharing. In the harnsy dashboard, open «Share to harnsy.dev».
- Choose what to show. Pick the company and its projects. Type a public name, a public address and a short description of up to 280 characters.
- Check the preview. It shows exactly what the next snapshot sends, nothing more.
- Register. Press «Register at harnsy.dev». harnsy sends your key to our license service once. If the key is not valid, harnsy says why.
- Watch the status. It shows when the last snapshot went out and any error. Your company is listed as soon as it is registered.
Stop or delete
- Turn off sending
- harnsy stops sending. If no snapshot arrives for 24 hours after the next one was due, your company is hidden; 30 days after that it is deleted. If you start sending again before then, it is listed again.
- Remove from the gallery
- Your company, its history and its access are deleted from harnsy.dev at once. If harnsy.dev does not answer, harnsy says so and you can try again.
Rules of the gallery
A company is listed as soon as it is registered; we do not read it first. We take down, within a day, an entry that is reported and breaks the rules: it breaks the law, imitates another company or person, or is abusive. We may also revoke its gallery token.
