Plugins
A plugin is a small piece of Lua code that adds something to harnsy: a button, a number on a board, a page of its own, a command in a chat, a check before a result is handed in. You install a plugin and switch it on in a project; you choose which keys, hosts and chats it may use, and you see what it asks for when you switch it on.
Where plugins come from. From the plugin catalog at plugins.harnsy.dev, from a .harnsy file someone gave you, or from your own project’s folder. Plugins are made by their publishers, not by harnsy.
Turn plugins on. Plugins are off until you turn them on in Settings. Installing and using plugins is free; some parts use harnsy Max features (chats, Inbox feeds, keys, incoming webhooks, reaching a plugin’s routes from outside).
Install one. On the dashboard open the Plugins tab, press “Install a plugin”, choose “From catalog”, find the plugin and press “Install”; then press “Enable” for the project you want it in and tick what it may use.
Write your own. The plugin Docs at plugins.harnsy.dev/docs explain how: start here, plugin.yaml, what a plugin asks for, what it can be, check and pack, the Reference, the Examples and “What you can build”.
Since harnsy 0.11.0.
